Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta participates today, in Albania’s capital, Tirana, at the meeting of Heads of State and Government from countries members of The South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP). After the meeting with the President of the Albanian state, Bujar Nishani, Romanian Prime Minister will attend the plenary session of the summit. Mister ponta will hold a joint press conference with the Bulgarian President, Rosen Plevneliev and with the Albanian President. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
IMF and EC representatives had talks with Prime Minister and Minister of Finances
Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Commission (EC) will conclude today the technical mission in our country. Yesterday, they discussed with the Prime Minister, Victor Ponta and with the Finance Minister about the impact of taxes reduction on earnings from state budget. The current visit of the international financial experts is one of preparation and they will return to Bucharest at the end of next month, for a full evaluation of the agreement with the Romanian government. Military exercise „Trident Poseidon 2015” started today in the Black Sea
12 warships and two foreign military ships set sail from the Port of Constanta to participate in the „Trident Poseidon 2015” exercise.
They will use specific procedures in crisis response, along with joint maritime interdiction, search and discovery submarine, fight against maritime mines, surface battle with firings at sea and towing a damaged vessel exercises. Procedures for identification and tracking aerial targets will be exercised, too. The military maneuvers will end on Wednesday in the military port of Constanta, with an evacuation drill and civilians rescued from a conflict zone. Also, the structures of Romanian naval forces will be evaluated and certified for the force package NATO RESPONSE FORCE (NRF) 2016. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

Romania wants to improve the dialogue with African countries in areas such as education, agriculture, infrastructure or tourism, said the Minister Delegate for Relations with Romanians Abroad, Angel Tilvar. He said that Romania can share its experience with African countries in terms of security, electoral process or training police and gendarmerie. „There are current topics that concern us equally, including the issue of terrorism, illegal migration”, said Angel Tilvar. He added that „we are interested to support at academic level through scholarships and aid forms in education, something that we believe we will achieve increasingly better and with an increasingly amplitude.
