State Secretary for European Affairs George Ciamba will participate today at the meeting of foreign ministers of European Union member states in Bruxelles. According to a Foreign Ministry’s press release, debates on the Middle East peace process and related to the recent developments regarding the external dimension of the migration will be held . European officials will assess the situation in the Eastern Partnership states and the prospects of resuming the dialogue on the political process designed to lead to solving the crisis in Syria. State Secretary for European Affairs George Ciamba will also participate at the meeting of the Group of Friends of Georgia organized by Lithuania and Sweden. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

The number of deaths in the fire at „Colectiv” club has reached 56, after another young woman died yesterday at St. John Hospital in Bucharest. Victoria Oana Geambaşu just turned 18 years she won mathematical olympiad and wanted to become an architect. 52 people in total are hospitalized in the capital, 12 of whom in critical condition, while another nearly 40 seriously injured people were transferred to hospitals abroad. State Secretary Raed Arafat recently warned that the death toll could rise. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
Romanian Foreign Ministry warns Romanians traveling in Bulgaria
Romanian Foreign Ministry informs citizens traveling to Bulgaria that the road traffic at the borders with Macedonia, Turkey and Serbia is hampered by strict controls imposed by the Bulgarian authorities, in the wake of the attacks which took place in Paris, on November 13th. The Foreign Ministry recommends consulting the web page www.mae.ro and recalls that Romanian citizens traveling abroad can access „Travel safely” application (available for free in „Google Play”), which provides information, travel advice and the opportunity to be alerted if special circumstances arise.
