The transport sector is a key element of the Romanian economy and our country must develop and modernize this sector in which much remains to be recovered – argues World Bank (WB) delegation in Bucharest. In talks at the Cotroceni Palace with President Klaus Iohannis, financial institution representatives mentioned certain reform directions in state enterprises sector, improving corporate governance and the cadastre problem to be resolved. In turn, President Klaus Iohannis stressed the need for ongoing projects and programs to be brought to a conclusion successfully, so as the quality of governance to be improved and to reflect consistent in the economic prosperity and improved living standards. Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos will discuss today with the ministers of agriculture and energy, Achim Irimescu and respectively Victor Grigorescu, on the priorities of the two institutions. The meeting is the first in a series of similar actions announced yesterday by the Prime Minister, who added that the overall plan that includes priorities of all ministries has been completed and will be sent to parliament. „We must focus on implementing these measures because time is short”, said Dacian Ciolos, „and once again I want you to make a distinction between the priorities this government has established and the things that still need to be made for the normal administration of the ministries you lead. The largest center for relaxation and SPA operating in Southeast Europe which operates with thermal water – Therme Bucharest -opens in Balotesti. The thermal complex has a capacity of 4,000 people and covers an area of three hectares. All pools are supplied with thermal water that rises from a depth of 3,100 meters underground where the temperature reaches 80 degrees. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
