Romania needs a cyber-security law
Romania needs a cyber-security law given that this space is used more often for the promotion of economic, political and ideological interests. This is the conclusion of the debate held yesterday at the Palace of the Parliament. According to Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mihai Răzvan Ungureanu globally, frequency, scale, complexity and seriousness of cyber-attacks have risen concomitant with the diversification of their targets. He added that the risk of cyber attacks is still difficult to estimate and more and more international actors develop powerful tools in virtual space which they use offensively to defend economic, political and ideological interests. Over 2.2 million foreign tourists came in Romania last year and spent nearly 1.3 billion euros. According to the National Statistics Institute, the main reasons for travels were business and for personal motives. In the same period, between 9.3 and 9.5 million foreign tourists were registered in Bulgaria, according to institute of statistcs in Sofia. In 2015, Hungary had a similar number of foreign visitors.
