Romanian and Bulgarian authorities have launched a cross-border system for managing the risks generated from large infrastructure projects, such as ports, bridges, power plants or even the future pipeline under the Danube. So, residents in areas affected will be informed of the potential danger and local authorities will be trained to be able to take the right decisions. Romanian part of risk management project is coordinated by the National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering, represented by Nuclear Safety Director Mitica Dragusin. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

Important drug capture in Romanian port town of Constanta. Two tonnes of cocaine were discovered by prosecutors from Organized Crime and Terrorism. The drugs were found in a container coming from Latin America. The investigation is a laborious one whiche started some time ago. Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs informs Romanian citizens who want to travel or transit Turkey, by air via Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport, that there may be delays or flights cancellations and very long queues at detailed security and passport control points in the context of Thusday’s attack at Ataturk Airport. According to a press release, Turkish Airlines activated two Internet addresses for information about the tickets conversion procedures. 41 people were killed and 239 injured in that attack. There are no information indicating that Romanian citizens are among the victims. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
