Tourists that go to Balea Lac could visit the Ice Church
The cold weather has its advantages. Tourists that climb up to Balea Lac, in Romania’s Fagaras Mountains, will be able to visit the Ice Church, situated close to the Ice Hotel. At the end of the week, the church will be consecrated by priests of different confessions. After the consecration, the church will held various ceremonies, as it happened last year, when christenings, weddings and religious music concerts were officiated. The Ice Church is six meters high and is decorated on the inside with frozen religious sculptures.
