”Sustainable Development at Black Sea” Conference has started at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest
Bucharest’s Palace of Parliament is hosting the”Sustainable Development at Black Sea” Conference. The event is held under the auspices of the Romanian Presidency of the European Union Council and is sponsored by the European Union. For two days, the scientific community is to discuss the strategic agenda for research and innovation, as well as projects that could be created in the Black Sea region. The conference will table a document called „The Bucharest Declaration” to be signed by delegations from all participants, which will commit to support the directions and strategic solutions convened at the conference.
The Waze Application has created the event „European Union Summit”
The traffic app Waze has created an event dedicated to the European Summit in Sibiu, in order to assist citizens and tourists who are in this Romanian city these days. The application is showing restrictions that are in place in the central area of the city and in the region surrounding the venue of the summit and offers users alternative routes in order to help them drive in normal conditions during the summit days.
French Film Festival reaches 13 cities in Romania
The French Film Festival is to reach 13 cities in Romania as of today. For the next twelve days, almost 150 film projections are scheduled in Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, Iasi, Arad, Brasov, Braila, Buzau, Constanta, Pitesti, Sfantu Gheorghe, Sinaia and Suceava. The public is invited to discover a selection of 23 movies, which are structured around four sections: young directors contest, the panorama of this year’s French films, the Cahiers du Cinema week and flashback. All movies are in French with Romanian subtitle.
