The current account deficit that includes the amounts collected and those paid by Romania in the commercial relations with the other states exceeded 5 billion euros in the first six months of the year, according to the data published today by the National Bank. The amount is more than 38 percent higher than the deficit registered in the same period of 2018. And the situation is determined in particular by foreign trade, which is strongly deficient in the case of Romania, says the NBR.
