Deputies and senators return to work
Deputies and senators are returning today the from parliamentary vacation. The new session of the Legislative will begin with the approval of the composition of the Permanent Offices of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, consisting of the vice-presidents, secretaries and the quaestors of these forums. The elections are made at the proposal of the parliamentary groups, according to the political configuration and after negotiations. The lists of proposed candidates will then be voted in plenary, in separate meetings. Both at the Chamber and at the Senate, the meetings of the Permanent Offices were convened today at 1:00 pm, with the plenary sessions beginning at 4:00 pm. The London Symphony Orchestra will perform at the „George Enescu” International Festival
The „George Enescu” International Festival, whose co-producer is Radio Romania, continues in Bucharest. Today, three shows are scheduled, at the Athenaeum, at the Auditorium Hall of the National Art Museum and at the Palace Hall, where the London Symphony Orchestra will perform. Numerous associated programs support in this year’s edition the extension of the connection between the festival and the city, including outside the theaters. Events are organized in the Enescu Festival Square, and over 2.000 choirs and instrumentalists will hold micro-concerts and recitals in parks, museums, shopping centers and offices in all corners of Bucharest.
