Pope Francis” donation for Romania
Five pulmonary ventilators and medical protective equipment donated by Pope Francis for the Hospital in Suceava will arrive in Romania today. With the same plane, the team of 11 doctors and 6 nurses sent by the government in Bucharest to a hospital in Milan to help the Italian doctors in the fight against the new coronavirus returns home. Seven new deaths due to COVID-19 in Romania
Seven new deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the last hours in Romania – according to the Strategic Communication Group. The victims are between 26 and 80 years old and there are five men and two women. The 26-year-old patient was from Mureș and was obese. Another patient, also a man, was 30 years old and was from Bihor County. He also suffered from asthma. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 thus reached 552. At the last report, the number of infections with the new coronavirus had reached approximately 10.100 people./opopescu
The total of people infected with COVID-19 reaches 10.096
The number of deaths caused by COVID-19 has reached 545, according to the latest report of the Strategic Communication Group. 10.096 people have been confirmed so far infected with COVID-19, of which 386 are new cases. On the other hand, almost 2.500 people were declared cured. By counties, the situations with the most cases are, in order, in Suceava, Bucharest and Arad. At the last report, 236 patients were hospitalized in Intensive Care units. Abroad, 971 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 66 died./opopescu
