Wearing protective masks will be mandatory until new cases of infection are reported
The Minister of Health, Nelu Tătaru, declares that wearing protective masks will be mandatory until new cases of infection are registered. He made these clarifications in Pitesti, where we have live details from RRA correspondent Cristian Matei.
Reporter: As long as there will be outbreaks of COVID-19, there is no question of giving up wearing a mask – said the Minister of Health Nelu Tătaru, who was on a working visit to the City Hospital in Mioveni. He also said that as long as we have community transmission, the mask remains mandatory in closed spaces, in public transport and at work, it all comes down to how things will evolve – said the Minister of Health. If we have a small number of cases in the sections of contagious diseases, in those of intensive care, only then will the problem of giving up masks arise. Because we are still talking about masks, Minister Nelu Tătaru stressed that the tender for the new lot is still in the procedure. The Minister of Health also made an assessment of the hospital in Mioveni, where money is still needed, a lot was spent from the city hall budget in this crisis caused by the new coronavirus, including accommodation and meals of staff who were seconded here from other hospitals. In reply, Tătaru said he was very impressed by the hospital built from scratch and by the facilities with modern equipment here. The Minister of Health said that there are solutions to the problems raised by Mioveni City Hall and that they will come when all the places, about 250, will be taken over by the Insurance House and when all the positions of doctors and nurses will be filled. The Transylvania International Film Festival will take place between July 31 and August 9
Good news for movie lovers too. The 19th edition of the Transylvania International Film Festival will take place between July 31 and August 9. Postponed due to restrictive measures taken this spring, TIFF is proposing a summer edition with many outdoor screenings, a holiday atmosphere and a context-appropriate program. The outdoor projections will be organized in clearly delimited spaces and the seats will be positioned at a distance from each other. Access will be by color to allow triage. Interior projections will be planned after the authorities adopt new measures in the case of cinemas. The organizers hope that the direction followed by most European countries, to allow the occupation of spaces in a proportion of up to 50% of capacity, will be applied to us. (RRA)/aboboc
