1.111 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed yesterday in the country, given that almost 21.000 tests have been performed in the last 24 hours. The majority of those cases were registered in the capital, over 200, Bucharest appearing – according to the Graphs.ro platform – also with the highest infection rate in the last 14 days in the entire country – 1.28 cases per thousand inhabitants. Over one case per thousand inhabitants in the last two weeks still have the counties of Bacău, Bihor, Ilfov, Brăila, but also Vâlcea. At the opposite pole, with the lowest incidence rates per thousand inhabitants in the last 14 days are the counties of Botoșani, Mureș and Vrancea. Yesterday, there were also 51 deaths, and 460 patients are still admitted to Intensive Care units./opopescu
