The incidence of COVID infections in Bucharest, close to three per thousand inhabitants
Yesterday was the second day during which over 4.000 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Romania. A new record of patients admitted to Intensive Care units was reached, 721, and the number of deaths associated with the new coronavirus was 73. Most diseases were also registered in the capital, 777, and in Cluj and Iași counties there were over 200 cases. In Bucharest, the coefficient of infections cumulated at 14 days was of 2,89 cases per thousand inhabitants, yesterday. The Strategic Communication Group announced that when calculating this indicator, the population considered is approximately 2.197.000 inhabitants.
