Twenty migrants, asylum seekers in Romania, were discovered by the authorities when they were trying to leave the country illegally through the Nădlac border crossing 2. 18 were hidden in a trailer and two others under it, sitting on a spare wheel. In the first case, following the investigations, it was established that the hidden persons are from Iraq, Syria and Egypt. The truck was driven by a 34-year-old Turkisgh citizen and was carrying aluminum products on Turkey-Austria route. In the second case, another lorry driven by a Turkish citizen transporting textiles to Sweden was verrified. Under the trailer, on a spare wheel, two migrants – from Afghanistan and Syria – were discovered. The migrants are now being investigated for attempting to cross the state border illegally, and the Turkish drivers, for migrant trafficking./opopescu
