Two new vaccination centers against COVID-19 will open in Bucharest tomorrow. One will operate at the Romexpo Exhibition Complex and another at the Senior Club on Calea Plevnei. The Municipal Committee for Emergency Situations approved, yesterday, the change of the destination of some spaces in vaccination centers. According to the Capital Prefecture, most of the vaccination centers are already operational, namely 14 centers with 73 immunization points; the others are in the advanced stage of arrangement, and will be opened in stages, depending on the vaccine quantities allocated to Bucharest and the vaccination requests registered./opopescu

People who received the second dose of vaccine against COVID-19 at least 10 days ago are no longer in quarantine upon arrival in Romania. The announcement was made last night by the National Committee for Emergency Situations, which established the same regime for those who were in direct contact with a positive person more than 10 days after being vaccinated with the second dose. Also, people confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 could get out of the caratine on the tenth day if they take a test and the result is negative. On the other hand, the list of states with epidemiological risk was also updated and entered into force at midnight. Thus, no country is no longer in the red zone and there are now 48 states in the yellow zone, including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France and Germany./opopescu
More than 30,000 people have received the COVID-19 vaccine in the last 24 hours
More than 30,000 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in 24 hours, a record number since the start of the immunization campaign in Romania. Since December last year, more than 233.000 people have received their first dose of serum, and nearly 2.000 have had a booster. Only 0,3% of those immunized had common and minor side effects. More than 300.000 people have already signed up for the second round of vaccination. 1.509 new cases of COVID-19 were reported yesterday, after almost 9.000 tests have been performed. Authorities also announced another 50 deaths associated with the new coronavirus, and 1.084 patients are being admitted to Intensive Care units. Of the total number of Romanians who became ill from the beginning of the pandemic, almost 90% of them recovered./opopescu
