State of alert extended for another 30 days
Romania expected to extend its state of alert with another 30 days starting with July 12 following recommendations of the country’s National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU). The Romanian Cabinet is expected to approve the decision and make an official announcement on the matter. In Romania the state of alert replaced the state of emergency in May 2020, and extended for the first time in June the same year. Since the state of alert was first declared the government gradually reopened activities.
