Today, the Government undertook the „Educated Romania” project, initiated by President Klaus Iohannis, with several directions of action aimed at improving school infrastructure, diactic training or educational act, with direct effect on reducing school dropout. Prime Minister Florin Cîţu reminded that the financing of this program will come from PNRR, but also from the state budget and specified that clear deadlines have been set until the legislative initiative is sent to the Parliament.
Florin Cîțu: On August 1, we will have an inter-ministerial working group, coordinated by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education, Sorin Cîmpeanu. It is proposed to adopt, by September 10, a government decision on approving the action plan with deadlines and responsibilities for the implementation of the project and, by October 1, the elaboration of the legislative package to ensure the implementation of the project „Educated Romania” . Training flights with aircraft and helicopters from the Romanian Air Force
Combat aircraft, transport and helicopters from the Romanian Air Force perform low-altitude training flights in the areas delimited by Ilfov and Bucharest. According to RRA reporter Catalin Purcaru, such flights will take place in the next three days and are executed according to the aeronautical regulations in force. Romania has reached 87 infections with the Delta variant of coronavirus, and three people have died – the National Institute of Public Health announced. More than half of the cases are outbreaks, and the source of the infection is unknown to 31 people. Most of the improvements were confirmed in Bucharest, Arges, Ilfov and Dolj. Yesterday, 51 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, out of over 27.000 tests.
