The unemployment rate reached to 2.96% in Romania in July
The unemployment rate reached 2.96% at the end of July, a slight decrease compared to June, but also compared to the same month in 2020. According to data presented by ANOFM, the total number of unemployed is almost 259 thousand people, those more from the village. Most of the unemployed were between 40 and 49 years old. Regarding the structure of unemployment by level of education, those without education and those with primary education have a significant share in the total number of unemployed registered in the agency’s records, more than 28%. The Gala of the Young HOP Actor starts today in Alba Iulia
The 24th edition of the Young Actor Gala starts today at the Students’ Culture House in Alba Iulia. The event is called „HOP” and 11 young dancers and five bands will compete for the grand prize. The event runs until September 4 and has as its theme choreographic theater, dance, the actor as a phenomenon of current theater. The pre-selection took place in July based on video recordings submitted online by competitors. Several awards will be given, including the „Ştefan Iordache” AWARD, the grand prize of the Young Actor HOP Gala, the award for the best actor / best actress in the individual section. COVID-19: Another 1,470 new infections
The daily number of cases of coronavirus infection is increasing again. From yesterday until today, 1,470 new diseases have been confirmed after more than 40,000 tests. Bucharest remains in first place, with 245 cases, and Timiș has more than 100 infections. There are also more and more COVID-19 patients in the hospital, now 2,642, of whom 101 are minors.
