Joint missions of the American Naval Forces and the Romanian Air Force
The Ministry of National Defense informs that a detachment of approximately 50 soldiers and four aircraft of the American Naval Forces deployed in Europe are carrying out joint training missions with the military and aircraft of the Romanian Air Force for a week. According to the Ministry of National Defense, the first 100 American soldiers from the new contingent sent by the USA arrived in Romania. They will logistically prepare for the arrival of the other 900 American soldiers. (RADIO ROMANIA NEWS)
Authorities have announced 27,346 new cases of COVID
27,346 new cases of COVID were announced today in Romania. There are over 8,000 fewer than a week ago. Instead, the number of associated deaths remains high. Another 171 were recorded in the last 24 hours. Five more deaths were also reported. In the capital, the incidence of infections continues to rise; today it has reached 35.31 cases per thousand inhabitants. (RADIO ROMANIA NEWS)
Ministry of Transport awaits proposals and comments from the public on the road project inspired by the Swedish model
The Ministry of Transport is waiting until Monday for the proposals and comments of the public on the project which proposes the continuation of the pilot project of road safety inspired by the Swedish reversible three-lane model, as already exists on DN 2, on a nine km section, in Ialomiţa county, traffic resistance from a one-way road and widened approach to the Swedish two-way, one-way and one-way Swedish reverse system, but reversible is required by Moldovan civic associations for DN 28, Targu Frumos-Iasi, the Moldova’s busiest road, the road on which, last week, there was an accident with seven deaths, the worst in recent times. The Swedish system reduces the risk of frontal accidents by entering the opposite direction. (RADIO ROMANIA NEWS)
