More than 35,000 cars were produced in Romania in the first month of this year, down about 8% from the same period in 2021 – according to the Automobile Construction Association. Of these, almost 16,000 units were produced at the Dacia plant in Mioveni, while more than 19,000 came out at the gate of the Ford factory in Craiova. Regarding the registrations, the official data show that Romanians registered 55% more new cars in circulation compared to January 2021, instead 25% less used cars were registered.
