Humanitarian campaigns to help Ukrainians continue in Maramureș County. NGOs, associations, schools, town halls, churches and citizens of Maramureș mobilized and came to support these campaigns. In just a few days, hundreds of food, hygiene products, money and other goods were collected, both for the refugees in Sighet and for the Ukrainians who still remain in their country. At the same time, many citizens offer free accommodation or transport by car. In Sighetu Marmației, donations are collected at the Polyvalent Hall, where dozens of volunteers sort. For now, the mayor’s office announces the need for non-perishable food, water, canned food, hygiene products, but also other useful products in this time of crisis.
