Ukrainian citizens can work in Romania without a work permit for a maximum of nine months in a year, the National Agency for Employment has announced. To benefit from all the services and measures enshrined in the current legislation on unemployment insurance system and employment stimulus, Ukrainian citizens may request to be granted a refugee status, on the course of the respective nine months, AJOFM spokesperson for the county of Dolj, Anca Petcu, has said.
