Extended program at health insurance houses in the county of Constanta, including on weekends! The measure will take effect on Friday, March 4, so that refugees can receive free medical care, investigations and treatment.
The director of the Tulcea County Health Insurance House, Eugenia Vasile, has said: „As of today (Friday – n.r.), we will work from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., including on Saturday and Sunday. Any provider who receives such a person has to send the border crossing document – a copy of it – to an address indicated by us. We will operate it in our system, and the provider can give the citizen a medical card and prescribe medicines to him.”
Eugenia Vasile has said that no emergency code is needed for emergencies and in Tulcea, some refugees have already received ambulatory medical care: „A few patients arrived at Tulcea County Hospital, but none of them were hospitalized and we did not have to give them this identification code, so that we could reimburse the services, but there were four more cases in the outpatient department, and we operated these situations in the system and the medical services were provided.”
