County counselors in Maramures have met yesterday in an extraordinary session in order to approve measures intended to support Ukrainian refugees crossing the border. Therefore, Ukrainian citizens who come to Maramures and need a PCR of Antigen COVID-19 test will be tested for free in partner centers. At the moment, 29 NGOs are actively involved in humanitarian actions to support Ukrainian refugees and also soldiers and civilians who remained in Ukrainian territory. The County Council also approved a plan to work with medical units in order to more efficiently support families with children and refugees who might need medical care.
