Hungarian border authorities have informed the Romanian Border Police that, starting this afternoon, control formalities, entering Hungarian territory, for Ukrainian citizens who do not own a biometric passport need supplementary, thorough checks. These new measures will cause waiting time to grow.
The Romanian Border Police has contacted its Hungarian counterparts to establish and apply common measures to help fluidizing traffic at the border crossing points.
The Romanian Border Police has supplemented the planned personnel to verify travelling documents and has implemented all necessary measures to insure an operative control.
