The number of refugees who arrive in Timişoara might rise, say the NGOs involved in the campaign Timişoara for Ukraine.
The executive director of the Timişoara Community Foundation, Daniela Chesaru, thinks that authorities must also engage in the efforts to give accommodation to the refugees.
The mayor Dominic Fritz gives insurances that the local administration can offer aid to refugees to find a job. As far as accommodation is concerned, refugees can stay in hotels where the state has announced that their expenses will be settled.
According to data from the center of support for Ukrainian refugees, so far, 60 families have decided to stay in Timişoara for a longer period. Most of the refugees chose to travel West./aionita
