Two children from Ukraine, who suffer from serious illnesses, were taken, on Sunday morning, by SMURD Iaşi crews from Sculeni customs, to be transferred from Iaşi International Airport to a medical center in Italy where they are to be operated.
SMURD Iaşi coordinator, Diana Cimpoeşu, stated that a seven-month-old girl and a two-year-old boy from Odessa, Ukraine, were taken from the Sculeni border crossing point.
Diana Cimpoeșu: „We were asked to take two children from the Sculeni customs brought by the ambulance from the Republic of Moldova, two children from Ukraine, from Odessa.
