About 100 children of Ukrainian refugees temporarily settled in Arad have enrolled in schools accross the county and have already started classes. Some of the students received Tablets from the County School Inspectorate due to their desire in remote learning from the accommodation centers, using a government platform provided by their country. The head of the Arad School Inspectorate, Marius Gondor, says that most applications for enrolling Ukrainian children in schools were registered on Friday, respectively 63, while on Tuesday another 40 were submitted.
„I assigned all of them to schools in Arad and Ineu. Most of them are children of employees who were relocated by Ukrainian companies here, in Arad. Some of the refugee children expressed their desire to take the online lessons provided by the Ukrainian government, and we provided them with Tablets so that they could access the learning platform in their country”, said Marius Gondor.
In Arad city of Romania, 63 Ukrainian children were enrolled in schools, and another 40 in the city of Ineu. Those who will study without actually going to school are those from middle and high school students./cstoica
