Two Ukrainian refugees were given a beauty salon in Timişoara

Since the war started, Timişoara has become a welcoming city for a number of refugee Ukrainian women. Each of them comes with a sad story and is looking for a safe place, far from their home.
Irina and Oxana are two manicurists from Kiev, who were lucky to be able to work in Timişoara. They received the key of a salon of their own, they can receive customers and earn a living.
Irina and Oxana each had a beauty salon in Kiev and couldn’t imagine that their lives would change radically, in only two days. On the day the war started, the two women left. They wanted to go to Spain or the United Arab Emirates, where they had friends. They went through Timişoara, a place that proved to be so welcoming and friendly they decided there was no point in going further.
Irina and Oxana now have their own beauty salon where they can work, they can feel like home, thanks to the goodwill of Geta Sanda, the owner of Sandria – Academia Artei Înfrumuseţării (The Art of Beauty Academy)/aionita
