The Ukrainian children who arrived in the morning by ferry in the customs house of Isaccea received a surprise reception. Border guards waited for them with hundreds of plush toys.The access corridor at the Isaccea Border Crossing Point was filled with toys of all kinds. Part of it was given to the refugee children, who arrived with the first ferry boat race, and other toys will be given at 11.30.
The Coast Guard action is part of the Waves of Hope campaign, initiated for Ukrainian children arriving in Romania. Those who want to give a gift to children fleeing the war can donate toys to the Coast Guard headquarters in Constanţa.
