The Romanian National Opera in Iasi will enhance its cooperation with the „Maria Biesu” Opera and Operetta Theater in Chisinau and, inthe forthcoming period and is also tryiong to ensure decent living and professional conditions for refugee artists from Ukraine. The acting manager of the institution, Andrei Fermesanu, has said that, for the time being, two artists of the Kyiv Philharmonic and a teacher of the University of Arts in the Ukrainian capital are now in Iasi: „In the case of the Ukrainian artists, a lady soloist and pianist at the Kyiv Philharmonic, and her husband, a violinist are pursuing their studies at the Romanian National Opera in Iași, along with a female piano teacher who teaches online using one of the Opera’s rooms and piano. ONRI is still looking for solutions to help artists who are currently going through some totally undesirable moments.”
