Nearly 11,000 Ukrainian citizens have entered neighboring Romania in the past 24 hours, up 19% from the previous day. According to the Border Police, almost 6,700 refugees crossed the border with Ukraine, and about 1,100 Ukrainian citizens the border with the Republic of Moldova. In both cases figures are on the rise. Since the invasion of their country by the Russian army on February 24, more than 1,200,000 Ukrainians have entered Romania.
