Two groups of migrants were discovered as they left the country
Two groups of a total of 21 migrants were found trying to leave the country in freight trucks, while two other migrants were caught in the field, 50 meters from the Hungarian border. According to the Arad Border Police, the trucks in which the migrants were hiding were driven by a Turkish and a Romanian citizen, who were transporting rims and car parts for companies from Poland and Italy. Following the verifications, it was established that they were citizens of Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Also in the Nădlac area, two people from Turkey were caught walking on the field. In all cases, border guards conduct investigations. (RADIO ROMANIA NEWS)

The mayor of the capital, Nicusor Dan, signed today the demolition order for Cathedral Plaza, a building built in the vicinity of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St. Joseph on G-ral Berthelot Street in Bucutreşti. Since January 2013, the Capital City Hall was forced by a final court decision to demolish the building. This obligation was, however, ignored by the former mayors Sorin Oprescu and Gabriela Firea, wrote Nicuşor Dan on his FB page. the demolition expenses will be initially borne by the Municipality, and will finally be recovered from the owner of the building, stated the mayor Nicuşor Dan in his post. The works for the construction of lot 2 of the Ploiești-Buzău Highway start next month, the order for entering the construction site being issued for August 11th. The Romanian-Bulgarian association that won the contract has a term of 20 months for the execution of the 28 km between Mizil and Pietroasele.
