Three people were taken to hospital this morning, with multiple concussions, after a train stopped abruptly to avoid collision with a derailed freight train, in Teleorman district. The incident took place between Roşiorii de Vede and Maldăieni, and authorities have activated a code red of intervention. According to CFR, one wagon of the freight train derailed at the entrance in Roşiorii de Vede station, and the mechanic of the passenger train had to stop abruptly, to avoid a collision. Several passengers have been hurt and they have been evaluated by medical teams at the place of the incident. Three victims were transported to hospital. At this moment, rail traffic is still affected in the area. The passenger train was moving in the direction Arad-Bucharest North.
CJ Timiş will buy a high scale stage for events that will take place in the year of the European Capital of Culture
A high scale stage will be bought by the County Council Timiş for events that will take place in the year of the European Capital of Culture. The stage will be payied by the government and it will be placed on the Cioca Aerodrome in Timişoara. Some 30,000-35,000 spectators will be able to participate to the concerts. The first event to be organized on the Cioca Aerodrome will be “Spring Refresh”, by Puls, on April 7th and 8th. There will be 40 hours of continuous electronic music, in a big tent.
