Romanians remain open to change – over 60% consider changing their field of activity in the next five years, and the main criteria for choosing an employer are related to salaries, opportunities for professional development and program flexibility, the BestJobs study also shows.
Drivers with car insurance policies at Euroins must denounce them and take out a new mandatory insurance
Drivers, who have car insurance policies with Euroins and want to denounce them, must take out a new mandatory insurance with another company, in order not to risk a fine of over 1,000 lei, the withholding of the registration certificate and the immobilization of the car, according to Road Code. The validity of the RCA policy at Euroins expires at the moment when the owner sends by e-mail the request for denunciation, i.e. for the return of the money to the insurer, notice of termination of the RCA contract which the respective company confirms through a message to the petitioners, states AFS. The e-mail address to which requests for the cancellation of RCA policies can be sent is office@euroins.ro, after which drivers must complete a payment request on the website of the Insurance Guarantee Fund fgaromania.ro. Euroins has a market share of 33%, basically, one out of three drivers in Romania is insured with this company.

Romania managed to slightly reduce the number of road accidents – during the last year there were more than 200 fewer accidents. Traffic deaths decreased by 145, and the number of injured by about 100. The balance of 2022, at the national level – approximately 4,700 accidents resulting in the death of over 1,630 people and the serious injury of nearly 3,700 others indicate the lowest levels in the last decade – informs the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police. This week, road agents are carrying out preventive actions in high-risk areas and road sections. The main objectives are to combat the violations of pedestrians and cyclists, to enforce compliance with illegal speeds, to detect and penalize drivers under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances./aboboc
