Announces have been made concerning the level rise on some rivers in the mentioned regions, with possible exceedance of the attention levels.
The Comarnic cave, in The Semenic National Parc will be open to visitors
Stating today, Comarnic cave, the most important touristic objective in The Semenic National Park, Cheile Carașului, will be open to visitors every day. Nicolae Ifca is the director of the protected area.
Nicolae Ifca: The cave has a total length of over six kilometers and the part that can be visited is about one kilometer and half long. We can observe rooms, stalactites, stalagmites, columns, all kinds of formations, naturally formed basins, therefore the visit lasts around two hours. There are three entries a day for groups of at least five people. The fee for an adult will be of 20 lei and 10 lei for a child. We insure a helmet, light, a flyer and explanations from a guide.
One car of the Mocănița in Alba Iulia has been restored
One passenger car of the Mocanița in Alba Iulia, which is 111 years old, has been restored and will be attached to a steam engine that is already exhibited in the area of the former small train station. Starting today, people can visit this ensemble, on the outside as well as on the inside. Tha car is the only one in our country on two axles, with a narrow track gauge. It travelled between Alba Iulia and the Apuseni Mountains until 1984, when the narrow railway in the city was disbanded.
