The government will adopt new normative acts to respond to farmers’ demands, announced the Minister of Agriculture, Florin Barbu. The Minister of Agriculture wrote on Facebook that, after five hours of debate, farmers from Botoșani and Timiș understood that there is money in the ministry’s budget for all their problems. Through the normative acts adopted and which the government will approve in the coming weeks, their claims will be resolved, the minister said.
National support program for young drug addicts
In order to support young drug addicts, two associations „Ajungem mari” and „Preventis” are running a national program aimed at preventing the consumption of prohibited substances. Thus, 250 people aged between 12-18 from Bucharest and from nine counties will receive educational, moral and emotional support for six months. Dozens of volunteers and employees of the General Directorate of Social Assistance will be trained to recognize young addicts and provide them with help.

The Prime Minister and Sanitas trade unionists meet at lunch for a new round of talks. The federation is threatening a general strike and has announced that it will also picket the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor in the capital on Thursday. Recently, at a meeting with the authorities, the trade unionists decided to create a working team made up of representatives of the federation and experts from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Health, which would analyze the problems specific to each sector and each professional category in the field of health and from that of social assistance. Employees in the medical system are demanding a 20% salary increase, from nurses, TESA staff, nurses to doctors.
