The land grab in Slănic Prahova is expanding
The situation is getting worse in Slănic Prahova – the land grab on 23 August street seems to be expanding. The security perimeter was also increased, and traffic is stopped. So far, 42 people have been evacuated from the blocks in the area, a police station and commercial premises. The Department for Emergency Situations stated yesterday that the ground settled and a crater with a depth of approximately 2 meters was formed on an area of more than 60 square meters. In the meantime, the authorities have set up indicators that in the next three days will provide information on how the surprise is evolving or not.
Prahova County Prefect Emil Drăgănescu: We hope to stabilize the area, but under no circumstances should we create a sense of panic among the people. The important thing is that people are safe.
ANPC recommendations before the Palm Sunday holiday
Two days before the Palm Sunday holiday, the National Authority for Consumer Protection draws attention to the fact that fish and fish products are particularly perishable and recommends increased attention to the external appearance, which is a first indication of the degree of freshness. ANPC urges consumers not to buy products that have a sticky or dehydrated surface, with mold stains or products with a changed smell and color, with an old appearance. Consumers must also take into account the fact that frozen food products must be sold only in a frozen state, and when thawed, they must present the unmodified taste and smell.
The Ministry of Energy has launched two programs for financing projects for renewable energy sources and storage methods
The Ministry of Energy has launched two programs for financing projects for renewable energy sources and storage methods. More than 800 million euros are available from the Modernization Fund, but experts say that a network development strategy is also needed to take over energy from prosumers.
Mihaela Suciu, general manager of the company DEER – Distribuţie Energie Electrică Romania: Everyone is talking about the transition to green energy, we are talking about digitization. There are processes that, frankly, caught us a bit unprepared, because the networks that we manage in 18 counties, 80% are before 2020, are networks that were designed for distribution in one direction, from manufacturer to the end user.
