Tarom signed a leasing contract for the purchase of two Boeing 737 aircraft. The two aircraft are part of the fleet modernization process and will be delivered between December 2025 and January 2026. The new aircraft will allow offering quality services to travelers and a significant reduction in the operating costs of companies. „Fleet modernization is a key element for improving commercial performance and growth prospects” – said CEO Costin Iordache. The purchase of new aircraft is a measure that is part of the recovery plan of the TAROM company and was a basic condition for the approval of the state aid to the European Commission.

In addition, our country is at the opposite pole in terms of wages, which are the lowest in the Union. The data of the study show that Romanians pay, on average, 26% less compared to the rest of the European Union, but that does not mean that they are doing well. In the last year alone, the basket of basic products has risen in price by almost 15%, despite the capping of the trade addition.
