The new Dacia Duster variant received the title of the best car of the year from the British publication Carbuyer. The jury was very impressed by the way Dacia pushed the small SUV in its third generation beyond its origins as a cheap car, through improved technology, electrified engines and intelligent design. Dacia Duster also won the award with the first generation, in 2013. Carbuyer is an electronic magazine aimed especially at consumers, which publishes news, reviews and advice for buyers in Great Britain. The British market is important for Dacia, which has sold over 100,000 Duster models in the Kingdom since its launch.

Official visit of President Klaus Iohannis to Montenegro

President Klaus Iohannis is going to Montenegro today on his official visit, at the invitation of his counterpart, Jakov Milatović. It is the first visit at the head of state level since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the consultations will focus on political-diplomatic cooperation and in the field of defense and support for Montenegro’s European path. The IMF has revised down the estimates regarding the growth of Romania’s economy

The International Monetary Fund revised down the estimates regarding the growth of Romania’s economy this year from 2.8%, as forecast in April, to 1.9%. For 2025, the IMF estimates an advance of 3.3 percent. Average annual inflation is expected to reach 5.3 percent at the end of this year and 3.6 percent next year, and unemployment to remain at 5.6 percent and then fall to 5.4 percent in 2025, it shows the latest report published yesterday by the IMF. The international financial institution kept its global growth estimates unchanged at 3.2% in 2024, but cut its forecast for 2025 to 3.2%.
