There are now 40 refugees whi have received accommodation in Jurilovca, in people’s homes or in hostels.
Mayor Eugen Ion has said that the law that provides money for the owners of tourist locations who receive reffugees should also be extended to individuals who are doing this. As president of the Association of Romanian Communes (ACoR), Tulcea branch, Eugen Ion will send a request to the Romanian Government.
So far in Jurilovca the local administration has identified 80 accommodation places for refugees, but their number could be increased.
